Women's Group

"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace."
— 1 Peter 4:10

Welcome Women of St. Joseph!

We are excited to be building a new community of women at St. Joseph Parish—a place where women of all ages and stages of life can grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and encourage one another in living out Christ's call.

As we begin this journey together, our focus is on creating a welcoming, Christ-centered community where every woman feels seen, valued, and invited to belong. While our group is still taking shape, we are prayerfully discerning how God is calling us to serve our parish and community, while also nurturing one another through fellowship, prayer, and spiritual growth.

Come Grow With Us!

As we grow together, these short-term and long-term goals will guide our ministry and shape our future.

Short-Term Goal

(Present – April 2027)
Our primary focus during this foundational season is to strengthen the spiritual community of our Women’s Council by fostering prayer, connection, and faith formation. Each monthly meeting should dedicate at least 30 minutes to meaningful small-group discussion, Bible study, or prayer, with the remaining time reserved for council business and necessary action items.

As we continue to establish our identity and build relationships, we will gladly support parish and community service opportunities as they arise but will intentionally refrain from leading or initiating new service projects. This season is about creating a strong spiritual foundation and cultivating an engaged, connected group of women.

Long-Term Goal

(Beginning June 2027)
Once our foundation is established, our Women’s Council will expand its mission by developing three core pillars: Spirituality, Service, and Leadership. Each pillar will have clearly defined goals, objectives, and opportunities for involvement.

Through these pillars, we will strive to:
Deepen the faith and spiritual growth of our members.

  • Serve our parish and local community in meaningful and sustainable ways.
  • Develop leaders who will help guide and strengthen the Women’s Council for years to come.

Our long-term vision is to be a vibrant community of Catholic women who support one another, serve with purpose, and enrich the life of our parish through faith-filled leadership and service.
